யோயாக்கீமிற்கு எதிராகப் போரிடும் பொருட்டு பாபிலோனியர்களையும் ஆராமியர்களையும் மோவாபியர்களையும் அம்மோனியர்களையும் கர்த்தர் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக அனுப்பிவைத்தார். யூதாவை அழிப்பதற்காக கர்த்தர் இவ்வாறு அனுப்பினார். இது கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியே நடந்தது. கர்த்தர் இவற்றைத் தம் ஊழியக்காரர்களாகிய தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மூலம் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.
